As of 01/01/20025 GRT – Transmission Specialists Warranty Disclaimer for HIGH-PERFORMANCE is as follows:

To be classed as High Performance the HP Rating will be on the invoice/quote.

Warranty is not applicable to broken or burnt parts as a result of mistreatment or incorrectly fitted by another party other than GRT - Transmission Specialists. Warranty is a “first right of repair” by GRT - Transmission Specialists.

GRT Transmission Specialists will only carry a 6-month workmanship warranty.

For parts invoiced, GRT Transmission Specialists will only carry the manufacture or suppliers warranty and warranty will not extend beyond this.

Electrical components will only be warranted if the invoice at time of sale has them listed on there for a period of 3 months from invoice date or final payment. 

At the time of booking or dropping off a transmission, it is the customers responsibility to provide the

following:

• Odometer reading
• Car’s rego – if available otherwise the car’s make and model
• Desired Horsepower level

Failure to provide these details will void warranty. 

If the transmission is given to another workshop to dismantle, this will void the warranty. 

High performance transmissions are for off road use only- GRT will not be held liable for misuse of transmissions/cars. The customer understands that these modifications are outside factory parameters. 

Where conversions are made and Modification Plates are needed it is the customer's responsibility to obtain these.

GRT – Will not be responsible for covering the costs of removal and refits or towing of vehicles, this includes transmission oils.

All transmissions are required to be fitted by a qualified mechanic and proof of fitment may be required.

GRT is not responsible for incorrect fitment by another party, or other failures such as converter failure, unless it is invoiced/supplied by GRT. 

If a customer's car is to remain on business premises overnight- it will be at the owner's risk and GRT will not be responsible for losses or damages that occur.

This warranty only covers street, drag or cruise type cars. Drift and burnout cars will not be warranted under any circumstances.
